Family recipes, straight from the harbor to your table.
Taverna Aura opened its doors on the Kala Nera waterfront three generations ago, when our grandmother started cooking family recipes for fishermen coming home at midday. The charcoal grill has barely stopped since.
Everything on our table starts nearby: vegetables from our own garden above the village, olive oil pressed from Pelion groves, and fish brought in each morning from the Pagasitic Gulf just steps from our door.
Whether you're stopping by for a quick plate of mezze with a glass of local wine, or settling in for a long family dinner as the sun sets over the water, we're glad to have you at our table.
